FROM SALT LAKE COUNTY VOLUNTEER SERVICES:

This Saturday Volunteer Services will be leading a sandbagging event at Public Works (details attached).  I am still looking for about a dozen individuals that may have an interest in taking a leadership role in assisting with volunteer control.  If any of you have an interest in participating as a Lead Volunteer (no compensation or overtime), we’d love to have your help. Please reply to this email if you have an interest.  Thanks, and have a great weekend!

In preparation for the forecasted Flood Season, we would like to invite you to a Sandbag Fill this Saturday at the Salt Lake County’s Public Works Facility.  The volunteer event will be held from 10 am to 2 pm, or until our goal to fill 4,000 sandbags is achieved.  Youth groups and families are welcome to join, but please remember that youths will need adult supervision to participate.  Feel free to contact Sheryl Ivey with any questions at her office (801-468-3044) or on her cell phone (801-580-8347).

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
