Dear Volunteer, It's been one year since our planning and preparation efforts resulted in a successful response to the Machine Gun Fire. Our emergency preparedness efforts will continue this Saturday, September 17th, with our semi-annual emergency exercise. We'll be activating in the morning so be ready to receive the exact scenario and procedures then. Be sure you are connected within your team and area organizations as well as through Facebook, Twitter, and our Be Ready Herriman website. Our objectives for this drill are to improve area leadership and incident command structure, mobilization and demobilization (focus on check-in and check-out for volunteers), and block organization. New Email System We're now using a new email system which will enable us to send email more efficiently to our volunteers. Transitioning to this new system may have caused us to import older email addresses. If you need an email change or need to unsubscribe for any reason, you will now be able to do so using the link within this email. Please encourage your team members and neighbors to sign up as emergency volunteers and to receive our email updates. Both can be done on our Be Ready Herriman website or you may forward this message to a friend. Credentialing
We plan to take identification photos and issue badges to some of our leaders on Saturday. We will schedule additional days to accommodate all our volunteers. Watch your email for updates. Thank you for all you do to support emergency preparedness in Herriman. We couldn't do it without you! Hope to see you on Saturday.
Sincerely,
Be Ready Herriman
